Spanish Abstract: Este artículo trata sobre el estado canónico de los clérigos. En su desarrollo se aborda la incorporación al clero con el rito de la tonsura y sus implicaciones legales. Posteriormente se desarrollan los derechos, obligaciones y prohibiciones incluidos en la categoría de vida y honestidad del clero. De estos derechos y deberes, el estudio analiza especialmente aquellos que están particularmente regulados por la legislación local.English Abstract: This article deals with the canonical status of clerics. In its development, incorporation into the clergy with the rite of tonsure and its legal implications is addressed. Later, the rights, obligations and prohibitions included in the category of life and honesty of the clergy are developed. Of these rights and duties, the study analyzes especially those that are particularly regulated by local legislation.
