ResumoThis article presents the efforts of a junior faculty member, newly appointed as the associate degree nursing program coordinator, to restructure and reorganize an established Associate in Applied Science Degree in Nursing program. An analysis of the program, identification of key elements needing change, and steps taken to create that change will be discussed. To note, because of analysis and changes that were made, National Council Licensure Examination for Registered Nurses 1st-time pass rates increased from 64% to 94% within a 3-year period.
