Resumo

This paper reports the proposal of the inclusion of the study of the sweet flute as a facilitating instrument of learning in the Musical Perception classes of the State Center of Professional Education in Music, located in the city of Salvador, Bahia. The classes covered are from the first and second technical years of High School Integrated to Vocational Education with students aged 15 to 18 years.Upon entering the technical course of musical instrument, these students choose one of the instruments offered by CEEP Música for their main dedication and training as an instrumentalist, developing their study for four years. In this 2017 school year, during the music perception classes, we adopted the practice of the sweet flute as the second study instrument so that these students had the opportunity to internalize melody and rhythm in a practical way, helping to tune in the practice of solfeggio. The study of music, therefore, has been developed not only by listening and vocalizing the already normalized paths of perception, but also and even by the study of a melodic supplementary instrument and the composition for duos and trios created by the students themselves from previously given solfeges.or sayings. The relationship built between the students in the learning process in each presentation of works has been substantially strengthened, regardless of the regular activities promoted, since they already write their own compositions for different groups of instruments, and perform them on the sweet flute. This model of perception class developed at CEEP in Music has been a differential in the teaching-learning relationship given the emphasis on composition and instrumental practice. The end result is the formation of a school orchestra where we will bring together all students from subsequent grades with arrangements for Brazilian popular music.
