Einfach effizient: Die homogene katalytische Hydrierung von CO2 zu Methanol gelingt mit einem Rutheniumphosphankomplex unter milden Reaktionsbedingungen (siehe Schema; HNTf2=Bis(trifluormethan)sulfonimid). Dies ist das erste Beispiel einer CO2-Hydrierung zu Methanol mit einem einzelnen, molekular definierten homogenen Katalysator.
