ResumoMabel was brought into the accident and emergency department by ambulance. The Initial history was given by a friend. During one of her ‘ladies' nights out’ Mabel had become unwell. The ladies had gone out for a Chinese meal at 7 pm and by 9.30 pm four friends had consumed 3.5 bottles of medium sweet wine between them. Mabel had complained of feeling nauseated and had vomited. By 10 pm her friends noticed that she had become drowsy and had started to breathe heavily. After she appeared to have fainted they became worried and dialled for an ambulance.
