ResumoGiven the consequences of the new Fund for the Maintenance and Development of Basic Education (Fundeb) for financing Early Childhood Education, this article aims to contextualize the offer of this stage in cities that started to receive complementary resources from the Union with the new rules for complementing the fund, analyzing its participation in the composition of municipal revenues for education.For this purpose, four municipalities in the state of Paraná were selected that began to receive a supplement from the Union in 2021: Bocaiúva do Sul, Fazenda Rio Grande, Itaperuçu and Piên.The reality of the municipalities was analyzed based on indicators of socioeconomic level and educational offer, conditions for offering child education and educational financing.The results found indicate that most of the municipal revenue
