Early Modern Spanish Literature

This article is about the world of written culture, books and reading. Its main objective is to verify the survival in time of the ancient authors and the reading formation that existed at a given moment. This subject is especially studied in the epigrams written in Latin by the enlightened and humanist Juan de Iriarte. Finally, it is emphasized that the Latin poet Martial had an influence on the subject matter and realization of the epigrams studied.
