ResumoThe following article presents the results of an experiment carried out in the electromagnetic compatibility laboratory of SENAI CIMATEC history. Computer simulations of a twinaxial cable were designed with the electric field measurements. The CST Microwave Studio software was used for computational modeling of a twinaxial cable. The result of the simulations was studied according to the influences of different dielectric radii without frequency of electric field radiation, specifically when radiation present is given by the phenomenon of common-mode current. As a result, two resonant frequencies close to 300 MHz and 900 MHz, respectively, and for such values the radiated electric field has greater intensity, so there is a need to use another frequency different from the resonance frequencies obtained, thus cutting the problem and avoiding electromagnetic interference for the 50 cm length of the twinaxial cable used in an on-board electronic system. The practical measurements were carried out in a semi-anechoic chamber, submitting the twinaxial cable in the frequency range from 30 MHz to 1000 MHz.
