Foi e continua sendo muito comum a discussão sobre o desdobramento político na República Pós-Ditadura Militar até o governo de Dilma Rousseff, assim como a ideia desenvolvimentista e a educação nesse período. No entanto, a discussão sobre esses três pontos, que se relacionam mutuamente, merece uma atenção especial e não se encerra. Isso exatamente por essa relação nem sempre ser explícita e evidente e, justamente por esse motivo, precisa continuamente ser revisada e reanalisada. Para isso, o presente artigo tem como objetivo revisar a associação estabelecida no aspecto político, desenvolvimentista e educacional na República Pós-Ditadura Militar até o governo de Dilma Rousseff. Quanto à metodologia, a pesquisa foi de natureza básica e utilizou-se do método descritivo. O procedimento técnico utilizado foi o bibliográfico. Concluiu-se que a educação passou a ser pensada não apenas como uma política de governo, embora de forma muito tímida ainda, mas sim de nação, particularmente se reportando ao governo de Itamar Franco, Fernando Henrique Cardoso, Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva e Dilma Rousseff, onde foram pensadas ações educacionais de longo prazo, bem como uma significativa participação social. Abstract: It was and is still very common to discuss the political unfolding in the post-military dictatorship until the government of Dilma Rousseff, as well as the developmentalist idea and education in that period. However, the discussion of these three points, which relate to each other, deserves special attention and does not end. That is exactly because this relationship is not always explicit and obvious, and precisely for this reason, must continually be reviewed and re-analyzed. For this, the present article aims to review the association established in the political, developmentalist and educational aspects in the Post-Military Dictatorship Republic until the government of Dilma Rousseff. As for the methodology, the research was of a basic nature and the descriptive method was used. The technical procedure used was bibliographical. It was concluded that education began to be thought of not only as a policy of government, although in a very timid way, but of a nation, particularly referring to the government of Itamar Franco, Fernando Henrique Cardoso, Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva and Dilma Rousseff, where long-term educational actions were considered, as well as significant social participation.
