Resumo

Present the results of the application of a pilot study of a teaching plan for the discipline of algorithms that makes use of multiple active approaches such as Virtual Learning Environments, Coding Dojo, Gamification, Problem-Based Learning, Inverted Classroom and Serious Games in discipline of algorithms.Use of forms of intervention that allow the development of active work by the students, making them take the lead in their learning and, consequently, increasing their engagement and interest in the contents covered in the discipline of algorithms.Case Study. The results of the implementation of this pilot study provided preliminary evidence that the approach to teaching algorithms based on multiple active methodologies was well accepted by students and enabled the achievement of good performance results, which were reflected in the final grades obtained by the participants. It was found that the teaching plan developed and evaluated through the peer review technique has feasibility of application within a discipline of algorithms. The way in which active methodologies were correlated with teaching units can enable teachers and students to have new positive experiences in the teaching and learning process of algorithms.
