The aim of the present study is to report a rare case of scleroderma located on the lower lip. A male patient, who was dark-skinned, 69 years old, and a construction worker, attended with a complaint of lesion on his lower lip. In the anamnesis, he reported working outdoors for a long time. Clinically, a thick yellowish-white plaque was observed in the transition region of vermilion lip and lower lip mucosa. It was painless with a rugged consistency and measuring approximately 3 cm. Limitation of mouth opening and tooth mobility were noted, and systemic symptoms were absent. An incisional biopsy, in which the histologic diagnosis of scleroderma associated with solar elastosis was determined, was performed. The patient was referred to a dermatologist, who prescribed to the patient continuous use of dexpanthenol 50 mg/g, 3 times a day, in addition to using lip balm. The patient is being followed up with a slight improvement in the condition, with a 1-year follow-up.
