Resumo

This story aims at a case study through a literary experience that occurred at the Municipal School Conde de Agrolongo, located in the North Zone of Rio de Janeiro.For this, I hand out fragments about childhood found in works "Rua de mão única" (1987) and "Passagens" (2006) of the German thinker Walter Benjamin in dialogue with the book "O flautista misterioso e os ratos de Hamelin" (2006) by Bráulio Tavares.It is intended to point out the use of games in public school as an experience capable of generating new beginnings and points of contact with childhood.
