ResumoTwo new species of the genus Katha Moore, 1878 are described from China: Katha pratti sp. n. (Hubei Province) and Katha portokaloftera sp. n. (Sichuan Province). Both the species are characterised by the large size and the unusual, orange body and wings colouration in both sexes. The diagnostic comparison is made with Katha suffusa (Leech, 1899), Katha nigropoda (Bremer & Grey, 1852), and Katha magnata (Matsumura, 1927). Adults, male and female genitalia of all the species considered are illustrated.
