ResumoQuality of Life (QL) is a crucial variable for the well-being of values as it reflects perceptions about their interaction in the cultural context and value systems in which they live.Thus, both individual and contextual factors related to QoL should be investigated, since many of them are associated with the way of life of homosexual people, sometimes segregated from common social, educational and health spaces, which may negatively contrast with health conditions.In this sense, evaluating the QoL of homosexual university students is essential to understand their social and health needs in order to allocate resources for adequate care.This research aimed to investigate the health-related quality of life (HRQoL), sociocultural factors and health conditions associated with identity in university homosexuals in the city of Imperatriz, MA.This was a quantitative, analytical-descriptive, longitudinal-cut pilot study supported by the "Snowball" technique in a target population by undergraduate students from public Higher Education Institutions (HEIs) and institutions in the municipality of Imperatriz (MA) collected in a non-random way that resulted in a sample of 58 subjects after applying the inclusion and exclusion criteria.Data collection was carried out between September and October 2021.To describe the profile of the requirements and verify associations, the sociocultural identity questionnaire was used.HRQoL was assessed using the World Health Organization Quality of Life instrument (WHOQOL -bref).Use SPSS software for statistical analysis.In addition to the descriptive measures, the normality of the data was verified using the Kolmogorov -Smirnov test and the associations between the variables of sociocultural identity and health conditions with a
