Resumo: O objetivo do presente artigo é analisar a necessidade de implementar o instituto da revogação de mandato político no sistema jurídico-político brasileiro e suas implicações para construção qualitativa da democracia, com o intuito de fomentar a maior participação da sociedade civil na política, aperfeiçoando o modelo democrático brasileiro com a integração do indivíduo ao sentido de exercício ativo da cidadania. Com relação ao método de abordagem será utilizado o método indutivo mediante pesquisas de cunho bibliográfico e documental para o presente estudo.Palavras-chave: Democracia. Abstract: The purpose of this article is to analyze the need to implement the institute of political mandate revocation in the Brazilian legal-political system and its implications for the qualitative construction of democracy. During the mandate, the elected agent must be committed to the ideals defended in the campaign and especially with the wishes of the person who granted him representation in order not to lose the legitimacy conferred on him. It is for this reason that the insertion of the right to revoke the political mandate is investigated in order not only to supervise the exercise of political power, but mainly, and as a consequence to foster greater participation of civil society in politics, perfecting the democratic model. with the integration of the individual to the sense of active exercise of citizenship. Regarding the approach method, the inductive method will be used through bibliographic and documentary research for the present study.Keywords: Democracy. Legitimacy Political. “Recall”.
