Abstract The interaction between human IgM Waldenström's protein and human Clq is demonstrated. One mol of IgM combined with 1 mol of Clq indicating a valence of 5 for C1q. The division of IgM proteins into at least two groups by their affinity for Clq is directly confirmed.
