Resumo

Extant scorpions of the small family Chaerilidae are very sparse, and they are poorly documented in the fossil record. Here we describe two immature chaerilids from mid-Cretaceous amber of northern Myanmar based on multiple imaging methods. Our specimens can be unambiguously assigned to Chaerilus in family Chaerilidae based on their complete type B trichobothrial pattern, very broad anterior margin of maxillary lobes I, serrated ventral denticle of cheliceral movable finger, presence of pectinal fulcra, and spiniform setae on the ventral surface of tarsi.
