ResumoThe present work presents a suggestion for a class involving an unexpected relationship between the Fibonacci sequence, certain generalizations (Tribonacci, Tetranacci, Pentanacci, Hexanacci, etc) and the notion of Board.Based on the concept of Board, students should be encouraged to understand arithmetic, algebraic and, above all, heuristic and geometric relationships, provided by the exploration of the concept of Boards and their multiple shapes and dimensions.Furthermore, the relationships between recurring numerical sequences and their combinatorial approach involve historical and evolutionary aspects of mathematical knowledge, constituting an important understanding for the Mathematics teacher and its corresponding exploration in the classroom.
