Resumo

Based on comparison of distributions of determined elements in soil and attic dust one natural and three man-made (anthropogenic) geochemical associations were discovered in Celje area. The natural geochemical association (Al-Ce-K-La-Li-Rb-Sc-Th) is influenced mainly by lithology. The man-made associations are a result of zine and sulphur acid production (Ag-As-Cd-Cu-Mo-Pb-S-Sb-Zn) and metallurgic activity - iron production (Co- Cr-Fe-Mn-Ni) in the past. The third anthropogenic association (Nb-Ti) is a result of titanium oxide production and is still in progress.
