Infiltrations and leakages occur in buildings due to failure in waterproofing systems and building maintenance absence. Thus, leakages are to appear in slabs, beams, columns and other structural elements as recovering and masonries. Leakages and infiltrations can lead to damages in potable waters or sewage pipes and they can happen at the same time. This paper aims to show engineering investigating works in compliance with leakages and infiltrations in buildings. The paper intends to contribute to relevant rules where investigating, analysis and conclusions works can be performed.
