ResumoThis study aimed to highlight and discuss whether there is any more appropriate conduct for enteral nutritional therapy in patients in palliative care. To answer the research question, descriptors related to the PICO strategy items were selected, being used with the Health Sciences Descriptors. The research was based on eight articles, all published between 2017 and 2021, found in the following databases: PubMed, LILACS and Scielo. Most studies have proved that there is great uncertainty about how to act in the feeding of the patient in palliative care and how far to go with this patient. Therefore, the nutritionist is indispensable at this time, defining the best nutritional conduct together with the multidisciplinary team. Therefore, ENT must be individualized, aiming at comfort and quality of life in the first place.
