Shang-Chi is the 25th superhero movie released from Marvel Studios. Marvel superhero movies are blockbusters, raking in hundreds of millions of dollars at the box office. These films have had tremendous impact on pop culture. Shang-Chi is seminal for being the first Asian-led Marvel superhero. For Asian Americans, the Shang-Chi film addresses important psychological issues of belonging and racial stereotypes.
