ResumoThe city of Brasilia, the current federal capital of Brazil since 1960, is located in the Center-West region of the country, along the geographic region known as Planalto Central [1]. Despite the short time of its foundation, the city has expressive numbers in comparison to other Brazilian capitals, being the third highest average monthly income and the fourth most populous city in the country, according to the Brazilian Institute of Geography and Statistics (IBGE), with a population currently estimated at over three million people [2].
