Resumo

This study presents the Archimedes Optimization Algorithm (AOA) to solve the optimal power flow (OPF) with an object function that reflects minimizing toxic/greenhouse gas emissions in power systems containing distributed production system (DUS).AOA is tested on IEEE 30-bus, 13-bus sample Nevsehir distribution system, respectively.The effectiveness of the AOA algorithm is first tested on the IEEE 30-bus and obtained results are compared with those of other techniques published in the literature.In this study, organic rank cycle (ORC) geothermal power plant is integrated into the 13-bus test system as DUS.In this context, firstly, geothermal resources in Nevsehir province are examined and the site where ORC plant will be established is determined.Next, the potential heat energy and electricity generation are determined by Monte Carlo simulation and compared with the apparent heat and electric out calculated in this paper.In this paper, based on the comparison results, an ORC model with the 2.351 MW installed capacity is proposed for the relevant location.Subsequently, the ORC model and regional distribution system are modeled using DigSilent software.In this virtual model, with the integration of ORC, load flow analysis is performed according to Newton Raphson and AOA methods, and the amount of reduction of greenhouse gas emissions is interpreted.
