ResumoIn 2016, a process of strengthening rural schools began in the municipality of Terenos, Mato Grosso do Sul, led by the municipal department of education.This department articulated several partnerships with various entities, in particular with the Federal University of Mato Grosso do Sul and its Degree in Rural Education.In all six rural schools in the municipality, the discipline of Environmental Education and Agroecology was implemented as an articulating axis of curricular training oriented to rural education and a process of permanent training of teachers of the six schools was developed with support from UFMS.rural municipalities developed interdisciplinary experiences oriented towards the contextualization of the school in rural areas and the valorization of Local Sociobiodiversity.Several learnings are presented related to municipal management and school management of rural education.
