O presente artigo aborda os modos de vidas dos moradores da comunidade rural-ribeirinha de Pirocaba, em Abaetetuba-PA, tratando da cultura, do saber e da vida construída no mover-se e no habitar o ambiente local. Para isso, recorremos ao estudo bibliográfico e à pesquisa de campo. Como resultado do estudo, podemos dizer que a comunidade pesquisada é rica em produção de saberes locais, bem como sua cultura é ressignificada diariamente a partir do pensar, agir, fazer e habitar o espaço geográfico rural-ribeirinho. ABSTRACT This article addresses the ways of life of residents of the rural-riverside community of Pirocaba, in Abaetetuba-PA, dealing with culture, knowledge and life built on moving and inhabiting the local environment. For this, we resorted to bibliographical study and field research. As a result of the study, we can say that the researched community is rich in the production of local knowledge as well as its culture is re-signified daily from thinking, acting, doing and inhabiting the rural-riverside geographic space.
