ResumoInitial Teacher Training and training in Comprehensive Sexuality Education contributes to the quality of education and has a positive impact on students' learning processes. With a view to an adequate articulation of the topic within this group, this study is carried out with the objective of defining the categories found from the perspectives of the current teacher trainers. The methodology of the study is qualitative and phenomenological. Twenty-five academics from different universities in Santiago de Chile participated in the study, with the only requirement to practice as teachers in pedagogy careers. A semi-structured interview was developed and the data obtained were analyzed using the NVivo program through the content analysis technique. The results are presented through a conceptual map where the five categories and the eighteen corresponding subcategories are presented. The categories are intended as a guide for their approach, aiming at the full development of the students' sexual identity and the recognition of their right to receive sexuality education.
