A importância da mulher indígena para a ancestralidade, identidade e tradição nos poemas "O segredo das mulheres" e "Mulher!", de Eliane Potiguara

Ao escreverem sobre os povos da floresta, os/as autores/as indígenas localizam a cultura e a tradição em um lugar outro, respaldando sua escrita na continuidade ancestral e no anseio em (des)evoluir e desnacionalizar a abstração do Brasil como colônia, assim como nos ensina Jaider Esbell (2020). Desse modo, objetivamos, neste artigo, analisar os poemas “O segredo das mulheres” e “Mulher!”, de Eliane Potiguara, presentes na obra Metade cara, metade máscara (2019). Nesses poemas, Eliane Potiguara nos apresenta a força e a importância da mulher indígena para a tradição e para a cultura de seu grupo. Nessa perspectiva, voltamos o olhar para a imagem dessa mulher sob o viés da afirmação, identidade e libertação cultural e ancestral. Para situarmos teoricamente este estudo, utilizamos os pressupostos de Fabiane Cruz (2020), María Lugones (2014), Gayatri Spivak (1994), Eliane Potiguara (2007), Stuart Hall (2003), Márcia Kambeba (2018) e Graça Graúna (2013). When writing about the people of the forest, Indigenous authors locate culture and tradition in another place, supporting their writing in the ancestral continuity and in the desire to (de)evolve and denationalize the abstraction of Brazil as a colony, as Jaider Esbell (2020) teaches us. In this perspective, in this article we aim to analyze the poems “O segredo das mulheres” e “Mulher!”, by Eliane Potiguara, present in the book Metade cara, metade máscara (2019). In these poems, Eliane Potiguara presents the strength and importance of the Indigenous woman for the tradition and culture of her group. From this perspective, we turn our gaze to the image of this woman from the perspective of affirmation, identity and liberation, both cultural and ancestral. We support theoretically this study in Fabiane Cruz (2020), María Lugones (2014), Gayatri Spivak (1994), Eliane Potiguara (2007), Stuart Hall (2003), Márcia Kambeba (2018), and Graça Graúna (2013).
