Resumo

Shoot the Indian was originally conceived in 2000 as a video game utilizing the Quake 2 engine, which, at that time, had been released to the public as open source. After some informal research I became daunted by the enormity of this undertaking and shelved the project. Then, when I was asked by curator Glenn Alteen to create a performance for the 2008 Magnetic North Festival HIVE event, I immediately came up with this version of the piece.
