Resumo

In a recent Science Bulletin article, Dong et al. reported a quasi-one-dimensional TlCu3Te2 bulk material with an application-level room temperature ZT of 1.3 benefited from the pancake-like Fermi pocket with quasi-one-dimensional dispersion at narrow band-gap edge and the large, anharmonic quasi-one-dimensional lattice of heavy Tl+ and weakly bonded Cu+ ions.
