ResumoThis research paper discusses Lux in Tenebris (Light in Darkness), a Virtual Reality (VR) project developed during a digital artist residency at the Deutsches Museum in Munich, Germany. The final product, set to be publicly exhibited in 2023, was created using creative text-to-image artificial intelligence (AI) tools. Using the Deutsches Museum's collection of astronomical objects and research-inspired text prompts, the VR experience showcases new models, textures, and concepts that have been generated through the use of AI.
