ResumoThis is paper, present an experience of using Comics (HQs) as facilitators for History Educacion and Arts Educacion, focusing on the theme of Historical Heritage in the Imaculado Coração de Maria School in the city of Olinda, Pernambuco, in the northeastern region of Brazil. The research addressed the concept of Historical Heritage and cultural representation through a pedagogical activity that involved the creation of Comics by students, using the language of comics to enhance the process of Teaching and Learning History. Through the experience of creating a fanzine with students from the middle school, it was evident that the production of Comics as a pedagogical activity was effective in learning, understanding, and generating historical meaning in relation to the Historical and Cultural Heritage of Olinda.
