Methane's Trail: a didactic game proposal about basic sanitation and energetic use of sanitary sewage for Chemistry teaching.In this article we propose the development of a trail-type educational game on basic sanitation and biogas energy use, divided into four steps: 1) Sewage: covers contents related to the sanitary sewage physical-chemical characteristics; 2) Collection and treatment: environmental impacts caused by sewage treatment; 3) Metabolic route: chemical reaction involved in the anaerobic digestion process; 4) Energy use: biogas chemical composition and the possibilities of its use as an energy source.The proposal addresses conceptual, socio-environmental and cultural issues and presents possibilities to be worked on in the classroom involving chemistry contents.
