ResumoA diverse Buccinoidea material with families Colubrariidae, Columbellidae, Fasciolariidae, Melongenidae, Nassariidae, Pisaniidae, and Tudiclidae is reported from the Early Badenian (early Middle Miocene) gastropod assemblage of Letkés (Hungary). Sixty-nine buccinoidean species are described and 66 illustrated, stratigraphic and paleogeographic distributions are given. This material is the richest in the Middle Miocene Pannonian Basin and it verifies the extended palaeogeographic ranges of 13 taxa, and allows describing seven new species: Mitrella soveri n. sp., Pisania klaudiae n. sp., Tritia bagolyensis n. sp., Tritia domonkosi n. sp., Tritia gerdsteini n. sp., Tritia letkesensis n. sp., and Zafrona olgapirosae n. sp. The holotype of Tritia franzenaui (Csepreghy-Meznerics, 1956) is illustrated. Columbella (Macrurella) offertaformis Csepreghy-Meznerics, 1972 (nomen nudum), Latirus (Latirus) lynchoides var. acutecostulata Sacco, 1890, and Euthria oppenheimii Bandat, 1943 are regarded as a junior synonyms of Orthurella convexula (Sacco, 1890), Polygona major (Grateloup, 1845), and Euthria curvirostris (Grateloup, 1845), respectively.
