The First Centenary of México Independence was raised in a lavish way mainly in Mexico City, the event was of such magnitude that to celebrate it was organized in advance the various celebrations that would take place, the inauguration of sculptures and public buildings was proposed, dances, popular festivals, civic-military parades were organized and foreign nations with which the country had diplomatic relations were invited. In this article we want to emphasize that, although in the city of Puebla the events did not have the same magnitude, despite these different commemorative acts were carried out that made the Angelopolis overflow. And one of the conclusions we have reached is that for this to happen it was essential the collaboration of the Puebla society and to a large extent of the foreigners, who participated actively, mainly the members of the Spanish and German Colony who shone by organizing different events that allowed them to demonstrate their economic power and their social influence. El Primer Centenario de la Independencia de México fue planteado de manera fastuosa principalmente en la Ciudad de México, el evento fue de tal magnitud que para celebrarlo se organizó con anticipación los diversos festejos que se llevarían a cabo, se planteó la inauguración de esculturas y edificios públicos, se organizaron bailes, verbenas populares, desfiles cívico-militares y se invitó a las naciones extranjeras con las que el país tenía relaciones diplomáticas. En este artículo queremos destacar que, aunque en la ciudad de Puebla los eventos no tuvieron la misma magnitud, pese a ello se realizaron distintos actos conmemorativos que hicieron que la Angelópolis rebozara. Y una de las conclusiones a la que hemos llegado es que para que esto sucediera fue primordial la colaboración de la sociedad poblana y en buena medida de los extranjeros, quienes participaron de manera activa, fundamentalmente los miembros de la Colonia Española y Alemana quienes relucieron al organizar distintos eventos que les permitió demostrar su poder económico y su influencia social.
