The study investigated the predictive factors of the award and failure of bids for outsourced home care services in the Central de Licitações do Rio Grande do Sul. For this purpose, 117 cases carried out in the year 2022 were analyzed. The data collected were organized into a specific database and analyzed through descriptive statistics and binary logistic regression. The findings suggest that the estimated value of the bid and the number of participants have effects on the final outcome of the bidding process. On the other hand, it was observed that the location of the service provision has no effect on the chances of awarding the contract.
