Resumo

The transcaruncular approach to the medial orbit is a cosmetically superior option to the transcutaneous approach. Knowledge of the anatomy of this area and diligence in regards to technique minimize the already low risk of complications. Use of the transcaruncular approach will yield improved cosmetic results while affording less surgical manipulation of orbital structures.
