and Ninespine Stickleback, Pungitius pungitius, were the only freshwater fishes collected from three ponds in L'Anse aux Meadows National Historic Park at the northern tip of insular Newfoundland.The record of the Fourspine Stickleback extends its known range northward by 45 km.
