Resumo

The research is about a study about Democratic Management in schools seeking to verify which mechanisms of participation compete for autonomy / independence in the search for improvement in the participatory quality of all educational staff.The world today is characterized by intense social and educational transformations, and the means to access these changes, taking into account that school and society are being effectively organized, is undoubtedly education.Knowing that the democratized management of education is a legalized principle based on the Federative Constitution of 1988.Thus, this article aims to apprehend how the process of Democratic Management within a school takes place.The research is of a bibliographical character, where the explored themes were materialized through bibliographical references such as: books, articles, Internet, etc.It is concluded that Democratic Management within public schools must be compromised not only as a principle of a new standard, but as a procedure that implies the exercise of citizenship.
