Resumo

In this article we aim to perform a morpholexical analysis of the words and expressions that make up the oral language of porto-velhenses.This present study is part of the Scientific Initiation Project (PIBIC) "Radiography of Portal da Amazônia: a study of oral language of porto-velhenses", under development at the Federal University of Rondônia.The data presented in the analysis were taken from the corpus of Porto Velho speakers, compiled for the original work and consisted of copies of the newspaper "Alto Madeira", from the 1970s to 1990s, articles, theses and dissertations on the city of Porto Velho and region and also, by the book "Carapanã encheu, voou: o "Portovelhês", authored by Nair Ferreira Gurgel do Amaral (2015).We emphasize that further study is needed in order to really establish a lexical profile of these languages; however, we maintain that this study is a small contribution for more complete and in-depth studies to be carried out, so that we can indeed present a "Radiography of Portal da Amazônia".
