ResumoThis article reports an experience with a professional male musician who goes into psychological suffering whenever he listens to the brazilian song “Coração de Estudante”, by Milton Nascimento e Wagner Tiso. The experiment aims to understand this phenomenon and investigate what possible musical elements would act as a trigger for its symptoms. As a result, the strong role of the melodic contour as mainly trigger was been detected.
