The Brazilian urban legends and popular reports are permeated by unusual elements and compose a recognised imaginary universe widespread in the society.The religious narratives, on the other hand, assume the presumption of faith and rely on plots which are marked by unusual images, in different ways.This is how Cidinha da Silva, writer from Minas Gerais, Brazil, constitutes the story "Lua cheia", our subject in this analysis.With more discrete religious references that we are used to find in her work, this story aims a singular key, aligned with the rest of the collection Um Exu em Nova York (Silva, 2018).
