ResumoThe paper presents the identification of visual, auditory, and kinesthetic (VAK) learning styles, to make changes in teaching strategies according to them, to check the relationship between traditional learning strategies and those made using a haptic device with Virtual Reality (VR) and Augmented Reality (AR) technology and investigate the differences between them. The subjects of the study were students from the lower level (9th and 10th grade) from Theoretical High School "Miron Costin" in Pașcani. The collected data were processed using a simple statistical procedure. To identify VAK styles, was used the PLSPQ (Perceptual Learning Style Preference Questionnaire) questionnaire proposed by Joy Reid translated and adapted into Romanian and the results indicated that most students have a visual style, regardless of gender. The study revealed a positive relationship between traditional learning strategies and VAKs realized with haptic devices with VR/AR technology and a neutral effect based on gender.
