ResumoAfter the start of the military phase of the Ukrainian conflict, a frosty winter has come in relations between Russia and Japan, as the degree of mutual sympathy has reached the freezing point. This political "winter" means not just another cyclical deterioration of Russian-Japanese relations, but a fundamental collapse that buried the positive developments during the Abe-Putin communication period. The deterioration of relations between Tokyo and Moscow was the result of two factors: a) the packages of anti-Russian Japanese sanctions intertwined with Russia's counter-sanctions; b) the anti-Russian campaign in the Japanese media, which became a powerful tool and catalyst for this deformation of mass consciousness in the country.Relations with Russia turned out to be in the "deep freeze" zone. The goal of the United States is to prevent the rapprochement of Russia and China. Washington has prepared strategic plans for the dismemberment of Russia into 5-6 autonomous quasi-states. And Washington intends to split off Xinjiang, Tibet, Hong Kong, not to mention Taiwan from China, relying on its allies Japan and South Korea. Moscow and Beijing in their strategy should proceed from about this perspective and accordingly make plans to confront the threat of dismemberment.
