ResumoLive streaming is one type of indispensable entertainment in our life due to technology development. Users could interact with streamers on the live streaming platform that they form an individual social group. Various live streaming platforms are now available on the market. It makes it crucial to study the user interface design of the platform based on an evaluation of user experience. This research studies two of the largest companies, Nonolive and King Kong, together with Twitch, an almost-10-year-old company in this industry. The consideration is based on the average spending time of users, company development, and popularity. The purpose of this research is to compare these three companies and discuss: 1. User habits and needs while using the video game streaming platform. 2. Differences in the user interface design. 3. Interface design principles and finalize the guidelines for future reference. The researcher looks into five aspects principles of Nielsen across Twitch, Nonolive, and King Kong by applying the mouse tracking technology, questionnaire, and interviews for qualitative and quantitative results. The researcher summarizes that the fundamental functions of live streaming platforms are: search, follow, sort by, night mode, streamer information, and notification. In addition, coherence, clarity, and color are needed. The researcher suggests including these elements to help to improve the five aspects of the user interface in the future.
