ResumoAbstract Gianni Rodari (1982) presents consistent and entertaining alternatives for classroom textual production. Accordingly, an error is not a mistake to be corrected but a creative possibility of writing and rewriting. The objective of this action-research was to analyze the results of applying Rodarian proposals to the process of writing and rewriting fictional stories of 5th-grade students at a private school in Curitiba, Brazil. We conclude that the proposals efficiently formed literary readers and writers in elementary school.
