ResumoBased on the extension project “Archival Science as an integrative element for access to high-quality public universities”, the goal was to connect the academic world of the Archival Science programmeat the University of Brasília with students from public high schools in remote areas of the Federal District. The methodology was implemented to conduct educational presentations on the role of an archivist and the demands of the workforce, drawing from the research of Souza (1997; 2011) and Andrade (2016). Escape Room, the interactive activity that emerged from an original proposal, was a highlight of the ‘University of Brasilia Week 2023: the future is feminine’, incorporating both theoretical knowledge and archival practice by Prof. Heloísa Bellotto has made a valuable contribu-tion. The results of the analysis showed a significant impact of the activity, proving its effectiveness in engaging and promoting the Archival Science programmeto high school students in an entertain-ing way.
