ResumoBackground: Cutaneous squamous cell carcinoma (cSCC) constitutes approximately 20% of non-melanoma skin cancers (1). In some cases, cSCC biopsy sites exhibit apparent resolution at follow-up. Previous work demonstrated that no residual tumor was present upon histologic examination under these conditions (2). Here, we examine the outcomes from clinically resolved cSCCs managed by watchful waiting (WW).
