ResumoRemote Sensing Infra-Red (IR) imaging sensors operate at very low temperatures (40–100 K). Generally, these types of imaging sensors are integrated with cryo-coolers. These sensors have an inbuilt 2N2222 diode-based cooler temperature sensor (CTS). This paper presents details of low-noise, high=precision processing electronics developed for CTS. Critical design aspects, simulation and hardware results of the system are discussed in this paper. Developed electronics systems achieve ≈5mK resolution and the power dissipation recorded is < 200 mW.
