As part of the OLAP, data warehousing solutions are very useful in BI by providing means of housing and processing large amount of data from many sources. As such these solutions enable better decision making since it provides one consolidated, high-quality data for reporting, analytics, and predictions. Some of the most used DW as a service solutions include; Amazon Redshift, Google Big Query, Microsoft Azure synapse, snowflake among others due to their scaling, simplicity, integration with BI too, among other aspects. This paper also aims at discussing different categories of data warehousing solutions and the significant ways they contribute to boosting business intelligence efforts.
